Chazz,

You have almost been an “outside baby” as long as you were an “inside baby.” And you’re crawling closer and closer to One. This last month has been a busy one for you, Mr. Chazz. Not only are you growing in leaps and bounds, but you’re also turning into such a kid. A little-big kid.

You are crawling everywhere {fast!} and pull up on anything you can to stand. That includes couches, tables, and any stray limbs. And what a grip! I’m glad to see that clawing your way up my legs is a fun new exciting way to stand.

All of these new mobile abilities have presented quite a few new problems… Babyproofing has become a twice-a-day affair. Getting you to sit still and eat has become…. very hard. And these days, you are SO over your carseat.

Being buckled in for longer than 10 minutes must really be cramping your style. Any longer than that, and you become a hot mess, inconsolable from the front seat. The 30 minute drive to pick up your “Dada” from work has become, well, loud.

{It is so hard to drive while he is flailing around bawling behind me, BTW. It’s heartwrenching! Do I pull over and prolong the tears in an attempt to make him happy, or just get where we’re going as fast and sane as I can?? It’s a rock and a hard place, my friends…}

Also, you have come to appreciate what I call The View.

Eating: Besides BM, he has tried rice and oatmeal, sweet potatoes, squash, applesauce, bananas, avocado, prunes, peas, mango, carrots, pumpkin, green beans, blueberry, pear, watermelon, melon, Pedialite and watered down prune juice.
Fave toy: Any non-toy item!
Fave thing to do: "Rawr!" at everyone. Wave.
Latest milestones: Crawling and standing up (now with only one hand holding the couch. Eek!)
Babbling: Dada, Mama, Lala and clicking his tongue.
Newest item/toy: Baby splash pool.
Tooth Count: 1, bottom left
I look forward to: Seeing you stand on your own!
